The Global Business Mobility – UK Expansion Worker Visa is designed for senior managers and specialist employees who need to be assigned to the UK to support the expansion of an overseas business. We specialize in assisting companies with their UK Expansion Worker visa applications.
Key Features:
- Allows deployment of up to 5 senior personnel for business expansion in the UK.
- Applicable only if the UK business has not yet started trading.
- Not a direct route to settlement, but switching to other routes leading to settlement is possible.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Must be 18 or over.
- Employment Link: Must currently work for an organization linked to the UK sponsor by common ownership or control.
- Employment Duration: Must have worked outside the UK for the linked organization for at least 12 months, unless earning £73,900+ per year or are a Japanese or Australian national under specific trade agreements.
- Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS): Must have a valid CoS from a licensed UK sponsor.
- Job Requirements: The job must be genuine, at an appropriate skill level, and meet salary thresholds.
- Financial Stability: Must have sufficient funds to support themselves without public funds and provide a valid TB certificate if required.
Specific Requirements:
- Job Skill Level: The job must be skilled to at least RQF Level 6 (graduate equivalent).
- Salary Requirement: Must be paid at least £48,500 per year and meet the ‘going rate’ for the occupation.
- Financial Requirement: Must have cash funds of at least £1,270, held for 28 consecutive days ending not more than 31 days before the application date.
Sponsorship and Certification:
- The UK sponsor must be A-rated and authorized by the Home Office.
- The CoS must be issued within 3 months prior to the visa application and include specific details about the job, salary, and employment history.
Switching and Duration:
- You may extend your stay by switching to another eligible visa route, like the Skilled Worker or Innovator Founder routes.
- The visa is initially granted for 1 year, extendable for another year, with a maximum stay of 2 years.
Dependents:
- Partners and children under 18 can join the main visa holder.
